1. Got My Music Intro A lot of the music I was making in 2013-2014 was started with a vintage synthesizer I had got from my buddy Matt Pedersen. It was a Korg Sigma. This song obviously is rooted in the sound of that Korg.
2. Blame It On Spose I was really into the Gap Band around this time also and this song samples the Gap Band. Lyrically, this song is about blaming others for your own pitfalls - a common theme in my music. After the robbery I made “Thanks Obama out of this idea.
3. Die Alone In 2013 my buddy Mike Be from Ock Cousteau and Educated Advocates sent me a bunch of beats he produced. They were all fire. I made an entire album’s worth of material over Mike Be beats. This is one of them. I hope to revisit all these beats someday and make our joint album like we planned.
4. I Can’t Relate Another potential banger off the Mike Be x Spose album that was lost.
5. Xenon I like the weird intro to this and ”Save Me”
6. House Phone This song was gonna be something cool, was stoked to produce this, spent days on the beat
7. Here Goes Nothing Love this keyboard riff I came up with. Must’ve tried like 17 different song ideas over it over the years but never got it right
8. Your Biggest Fan Something I produced that I had as a beat for a while and ended up making this song about my daughter Lily over it
9. Porridge I think this beat was inspired by a Young Jeezy song I had heard
10. Lie To You This was the seed of the idea that ended up becoming Lies Song on my 2015 album Why Am I So Happy?
